Jury selection date set for Phil Spector murder case
A March 19th date has been set for jury selection in legendary producer Phil Spector's murder trial for the 2003 shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson. Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler, who has postponed the case several times for scheduling reasons, said "we have to get this case to trial," reports the Associated Press.
As many as 300 prospective jurors will be called to be examined for the case. Testimony is expected to begin three to four weeks later, in a trial that could last up to three months. Spector is currently free on $1 million bail.
