Limp Bizkit frontman gets high marks as director
Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is getting high marks from one of the actors appearing in his debut as a feature film director, according to MTV. The movie, called The Education of Charlie Banks, stars Chris Marquette, who said that the normally volatile Durst was "really personable and insanely calm" on the set, adding, "We did all our prep work, and when we got to the set he just let it go. It was cool." Marquette, whose previous credits include The Girl Next Door, also said that Durst's confidence behind the camera was "incredible."
The Education of Charlie Banks follows three young New Yorkers who reunite at Vassar College. The movie, which also stars Jason Ritter and Jesse Eisenberg, does not yet have a release date.
Durst has directed several of Limp Bizkit's videos and has been attached to several other film projects in the past, but this is the first to actually go into production.
Limp Bizkit has been inactive for the better part of two years, with no albums or tours on the horizon. Many rumors indicate that the band has broken up.
