Plus 44 opening for Fall Out Boy on Honda tour
Plus 44 will open for headliners Fall Out Boy on the 2007 Honda Civic Tour, according to Punkbands.com. As reported yesterday, the trek will kick off on April 18th in Charlotte, North Carolina. Plus 44 will be promoting its recently released debut album, When Your Heart Stops Beating. The group began touring late last fall and bassist Mark Hoppus told us that they couldn't be happier with the response: "The shows have been amazing. The level of support and anticipation for the shows is anything beyond I think what we were thinking or hoping or anything. Every show's been sold out, it's really humbling to us that there's this level of support."
Full dates and venues for the Honda Civic Tour, as well as additional support acts, will be announced later this month
Plus 44 will begin a European tour on January 18th in Paris, France.
Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker started Plus 44 after the breakup of their previous outfit, Blink-182.
When Your Heart Stops Beating debuted at Number 10 on the Billboard album chart when it came out last November.
