The Rolling Stones may play free concert in Romania
The latest rumor regarding the upcoming Rolling Stones dates is that the band will play a free concert in Romania. According to Romania's nineoclock.ro, the Stones are planning a free show similar to their February 2006 gig in Rio de Janeiro, where the band played for over a million concert goers.Although no dates have been confirmed, the unofficial fan website itsonlyrockandroll.org (iorr.org) has posted that the band is planning a summer swing through Europe beginning in June, hitting Spain, Belgium, Poland, Germany, France, the UK, Croatia, and Romania.
Last year a Stones representative said that European dates would be likely, so that the band could make up for the shows postponed due to Keith Richards' head injury last spring.
