Slash and Joan Jett rock Las Vegas

Slash and Joan Jett were expected to make separate appearances at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 10th. Both were expected to be at the Gibson Guitar display in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center, with the former Guns N' Roses guitarist taking photos and greeting fans at 2 p.m., and Jett performing with her band the Blackhearts starting at 6:45 p.m. local time

Gibson has also featured visits from artists including ZZ Top singer-guitarist Reverend Billy F. Gibbons and former Steely Dan and Doobie Brothers guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, while Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson and actor-musician Billy Bob Thornton are also due to stop by today.
