Slash appears in Latin star's video

Velvet Revolver and former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has made a guest appearance in Latin pop star Paulina Rubio's new video for her single "Nada Puede Cambiarme," according to Blabbermouth.net. The song itself, the second single from the Mexican singer's 2006 Spanish-language album Ananda, also features guitar work from Slash. The clip was filmed in Los Angeles on January 9th and a premiere date has yet to be announced.

Velvet Revolver recently began recording its sophomore album, titled Libertad, with producer Brendan O'Brien, who's worked with Audioslave, Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots.

Velvet Revolver hopes to release Libertad in late April or early May and hit the road shortly after that.
