Slipknot's "clown" selling cars on eBay
Slipknot percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan is selling four of his 1973 Dodge Chargers on eBay, according to Blabbermouth.net. A posting at the auction page for the vehicles lists the four cars as being in "varying condition" and needing new floors and full restorations. The posting adds, "Shawn was going to make one or two cars out of these four...The cars are located in Des Moines, Iowa and should be picked up there. You are responsible for all shipping costs, all sales final, cars sold as is." The auction ends today (Tuesday, January 23rd) at 10:16 p.m. ET.
The '73 Charger was one of Dodge's high-performance "muscle car" models and that year's edition was the best-selling of the early '70s.
Crahan assembled and directed the recently released Slipknot DVD, Voliminal: Inside the Nine.
Slipknot will regroup in early 2008 to begin writing and recording its next studio album.
