Stevie Nicks booked for Super Bowl pre-game show
Stevie Nicks has been added to the roster of performers at the upcoming Super Bowl. Nicks will take part in the pre-game entertainment, along with a performance by Cirque Du Soleil and DJ Louie Vega. The only other entertainers announced so far are Billy Joel, who will sing the national anthem, and Prince, who will do the halftime show. Super Bowl XLI (41) takes place February 4th at Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Nicks is the latest rocker to do the pre-game show, following in the footsteps of Santana, Aerosmith, the Charlie Daniels Band, Paul McCartney, Styx, Sting, Kiss, and the Georgia Satellites. The half-time show has seen performances by Aerosmith, U2, ZZ Top, Phil Collins, Sting, Paul McCartney, and the Rolling Stones.
