Stone Sour headlining spring Jagermeister tour

Stone Sour will headline the spring 2007 edition of the Jagermeister Music Tour, with Lacuna Coil and Shadows Fall along as support, according to Tunelab Music. Cities and venues for the trek have been revealed, but exact dates are yet to be confirmed. The tour will begin on March 23rd in St. Paul, Minnesota. Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor said in a statement, "This has been something we have been looking forward to for a very long time. Having done this tour before, I can honestly say it's like nothing I've ever experienced. It's our time, and we're coming for you."

Stone Sour guitarist Jim Root is dating Lacuna Coil singer Cristina Scabbia, which means at least two people on the tour will have a good time.

Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor told MTV.com earlier this week that he wants the band to stay on the road for all of 2007, meaning that he and Root won't return to their other group, Slipknot, until 2008.

Stone Sour's sophomore effort, Come What(ever) May, arrived in stores last August and is approaching the half-million mark in sales.
