Win a music recording contract

PRESS RELEASE
Music Nation, a NYC-based artist development company, is offering urban, rock, and pop-star up-and-comers a new way of gaining recognition this year through an innovative online video music competition via www.MusicNation.com. Most easily described as "American Idol meets YouTube", the payoff is a recording contract with Epic Records.

Aspiring musicians can upload a video onto the site, create an artist page, and immediately be entered into the 15-week contest. Musicians can upload their videos for free until January 29, after which there will be a registration fee of $25. The competition officially begins January 29th when voting begins (the public and a panel of celebrity judges – TBA – will vote) and ends with three winners, one in each genre of urban/rock/pop receiving a recording contract with Epic Records. One of these winners will also be featured on STRIPPED, Clear Channel Radio's exclusive in-studio performance series.
