Yes looking at 40th anniversary tour in 2008

Things look quiet on the Yes front for the immediate future, but the band has definitely not broken up -- in fact, plans are already being laid for the group's 40th anniversary in 2008. Bassist Chris Squire told us that they'll probably tour to celebrate: "Nothing's in stone yet, but it will be Yes's 40th anniversary, believe it or not, of the band, in 2008, so, you know, we should do something for it. And there's quite a few, various offers from various promoters and touring people on the table that we're looking at now."

Yes formed in London in 1968.

While Yes is dormant, guitarist Steve Howe is working with Asia, and singer Jon Anderson is doing his own thing, which includes releasing a 20-volume box set and playing some dates next month with students from Paul Green's School Of Rock.
