30 Seconds To Mars kicks off Taste Of Chaos tour
30 Seconds To Mars gets back on the road tonight (Thursday, February 15th) as co-headliners on the 2007 Taste Of Chaos tour. 30 Seconds vocalist Jared Leto told us that he's looking forward to sharing the stage again with old friends and co-headliners the Used: "We opened up for the Used about a year and a few months ago. We were, like, the opening band, not even the main support. So it'll be nice to go back on the road with them. They're friends and we're very supportive of them and they are of us as well. So it's nice, it's kind of like family."
The Taste Of Chaos lineup also includes Senses Fail, Saosin, Evaline, Chiodos and Aiden. The tour will wrap up on April 8th in Vancouver, Canada.
30 Seconds To Mars plans to continue the environmentally sound policies it's been practicing on the road in recent months, including using vegetable-oil gas for its tour buses.
30 Seconds To Mars also plans to play a few headlining dates in between Chaos stops.
The band is supporting its 2005 sophomore effort, A Beautiful Lie, which recently went platinum.
The Used released a live CD/DVD set called Berth last week and will issue its next studio effort this spring.
