Anna Nicole Smith dirt piling up

Anna Nicole Smith died a week ago today and the dirt has been piling up about the former Playboy centerfold ever since. The latest scoop is that Smith purposely underfed her baby Dannielynn to keep her "sexy" and that she received prescriptions of Methadone and Demerol while still pregnant.

Former night nanny Quethlie Alexis said in a sworn affidavit obtained by TMZ that Smith was "obsessed with making sure that her baby was 'sexy'" and insisted that the child be fed a maximum of 2.5 ounces of formula instead of the normal three ounces. Alexis also said that Smith "attempted to commit suicide" twice and that she had a "flagrant sexual relationship" with Shane Gibson, the Bahamian Minister of Immigration who greenlit Smith's residency on the islands. Alexis said Gibson and Smith spent "hours alone" in Smith's bedroom but never actually saw them having intercourse.

As for Smith's drugs, TMZ reports that she received prescriptions for Methadone and Demerol under her legal name, Vicky Marshall, and an alias, Michelle Chase. If taken while pregnant, Demerol can "produce depression of respiration functions of a newborn," among other side effects. Smith got the prescription two weeks before giving birth to Dannielynn.

In other Smith news:

Strippers at various Rick's Cabaret locations across the country paid tribute to their fallen comrade at midnight last night. Smith met husband J. Howard Marshall while working at Rick's in Houston.
Smith's body is still being refrigerated at the Broward County Medical Examiner's office in Dania Beach, Florida. An L.A. judge ruled yesterday (February 14th) that the body could be released because DNA samples had been taken from it but a Florida judge said it should stay put. Meanwhile, medical examiner Joshua Perper warned that "further delay may affect the integrity of the body and its aesthetic appearance" if it's not embalmed soon.
A Bahamian judge has also ruled that baby Dannielynn has to stay in the Bahamas until her custody case is figured out.
