Anna Nicole Smith still in limbo
Anna Nicole Smith's famous and now decomposing body is still above ground more than two weeks after her death, thanks to the latest legal maneuver by her mother, Virgie Arthur. Arthur opposed last week's decision to put Smith's corpse and funeral details in the hands of a court-appointed attorney, so Florida's 4th District Court of Appeal is reviewing the case today (February 28th). Arthur says Florida judge Larry Seidlin didn't have jurisdiction to rule on the case.
Arthur wants Smith buried in Texas, and Smith's partner, Howard K. Stern, wants her in the Bahamas with her deceased son Daniel.
