First Hellyeah single surfaces online
Hellyeah, the band featuring Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul as well as members of Mudvayne and Nothingface, began streaming the song "You Wouldn't Know" at its MySpace page this week. The tune is the first official single from the band's upcoming debut album and Vinnie Paul told us it's one of his favorites: "I remember all of us were so excited by the fact that it was just a really good, straight ahead, driving beat, you know, something that's kind of been missing from metal, you know. There's so much intricate stuff that goes on now, and everybody's so ate up with going as fast as they can go and everything, just the groove of it was so great. It's one of the coolest songs on the record, man."
Hellyeah's self-titled debut album arrives on April 10th.
The band also features Mudvayne singer Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett, plus Nothingface guitarist Tom Maxwell and bassist Jerry Montano.
Paul recently said that Hellyeah will hit the road all year, and hinted that the band would love to appear on this summer's Ozzfest.
