Metallica playing in Moscow for second time
Metallica will play a concert in Moscow for the second time in its career, according to a new post at the band's official web site. The group will play at Lushniki Stadium in the Russian capital on July 18th. The band previously played a festival date in Moscow with AC/DC and Pantera, which the post described as "one of the best and most intense shows in (Metallicas) history."Metallica has also named its upcoming European tour Sick of the Studio '07. The name came from a fan, after the group asked fan club members to come up with one.
The summer trek now includes stops in Norway, Austria, Belgium, Greece, Sweden and Finland in addition to Russia. More dates are expected to be announced, although U.S. shows are doubtful.
Metallica will enter the studio on March 12th to begin recording its ninth studio album.
