OAR plans tour and DVD release

O.A.R. will begin a new tour on March 1st in Syracuse, New York. Dates are scheduled through the spring, wrapping on May 5th in Charlottesville, Virginia. Hitting the road is nothing new for the guys in O.A.R., who spend much of the year playing shows. Guitarist Richard On told us that he thinks O.A.R.'s sound is improving with every tour: "I think playing-wise, I think we're all getting better as musicians, you know. We tour a lot and we don't get a chance to practice that much because we tour so much. And I think our chops are getting better as we play."

In other news, O.A.R. will release its recent Madison Square Garden concert as a DVD and two-CD live album later this year. The sold-out New York City show was filmed last month.
