Papa Roach lays down acoustic tracks
Papa Roach recently recorded acoustic versions of three of its songs, according to Billboard.com. Singer Jacoby Shaddix said that the band did the recordings "just to test the waters and see how they sounded. They came out great. First and foremost, it was fun, and the sound quality was killer." But Shaddix added the band doesn't plan to release them yet, saying, "I don't think our fans are quite ready for this yet...but it's definitely something we're gonna touch on in the future."
The band laid down unplugged recordings of "Scars," "Not Coming Home" and its latest single, "Forever."
Papa Roach is currently touring North America in support of its current album, The Paramour Sessions. The band plays tomorrow (Thursday, February 15th) in Chicago.
Papa Roach plans to take a break in March and build its own studio back home in Sacramento, California, to be followed by a summer European trek and another U.S. tour after that.
The quartet will also film a video for "Forever" next month. An Internet version of the clip will allow fans to view the clip from different angles.
