Raconteurs, Death Cab For Cutie on comp with Who guitarist
The Raconteurs and Death Cab For Cutie are two of the artists appearing on a new compilation called Attic Jam. According to Pitchfork Media, the iTunes-only release collects a number of acoustic performances recorded by musician Rachel Fuller for a live video webcast called "In The Attic." Both the Raconteurs and Death Cab are joined by Fuller's boyfriend, legendary Who guitarist Pete Townshend, on their songs. The Raconteurs play the Who's "The Seeker" with Townshend, while Death Cab does its own song, "Photobooth."
Attic Jam will be available on iTunes beginning this Wednesday (February 14th).
The compilation also includes songs from the Flaming Lips, Editors, the Zutons and Fuller herself, along with solo performances from Townshend.
The Raconteurs and Death Cab For Cutie are both on breaks after spending most of 2006 on the road.
