Saliva singer feeling no effects from accident on tour

Saliva is touring in support of its newly released album, Blood Stained Love Story, and lead singer Josey Scott told us that he's feeling no lingering physical effects from the nasty car accident he and the rest of the band were in several months ago: "I'm totally healed up. The doctor gave me a clean bill of health before I left, and he said that I'd be good as new in six weeks and he was pretty much right. It took a little longer than six weeks, but I was okay. It was a non-surgical type thing."

Scott and several members of Saliva's entourage were in a van that was hit by a car going 65 miles an hour in the incident, which happened last August.

Scott had to be cut out of the vehicle and suffered several fractures. He had to go through a month and a half of physical therapy.

Blood Stained Love Story came out on January 23rd and entered the Billboard album chart at Number 19, with sales of 31,000 copies in its first week of release.

Saliva is on the road with Crossfade and plays tomorrow (Friday, February 9th) in Wichita, Kansas.
