Velvet Revolver modelling for fashion designer

The members of Velvet Revolver have been chosen by clothing designer John Varvatos for his spring 2007 ad campaign, according to Blabbermouth.net. A selection of photos taken at various Los Angeles locations can be seen now at johnvarvatos.com. The campaign is expected to run for six months and will include print, outdoor and Internet advertising. The last two Varvatos campaigns used Audioslave singer Chris Cornell and legendary rocker Iggy Pop as their "faces."

Velvet Revolver's second album, Libertad, has been given a tentative U.S. release date of Tuesday, May 15th, although this has not been officially confirmed by the group's label.

The band is tentatively scheduled to visit South America in April with Aerosmith, followed by a U.S. theatre tour in May.
