Yes DVD from Montreux Jazz Fest coming in March
A DVD from Yes's only performance at the Montreux Jazz Fest will be out next month. Yes Live At Montreux features the band's 17-song performance from July 14th, 2003, which included such standards as "And You And I," "Long Distance Runaround," "I've Seen All Good People," and "Roundabout." The DVD, which runs two hours and 18 minutes, features the classic Yes lineup of Jon Anderson on vocals, Steve Howe on guitar, Chris Squire on bass, Rick Wakeman on keyboards, and Alan White on drums. Yes Live At Montreux comes out March 20th.
According to a press release, the bandmembers think this is the best Yes show ever to be shot, and fans have been asking for it to be released pretty much since the day of the show. The holdup had to do with some legal clearances, which have now been resolved.
The Yes Live At Montreux tracklisting includes "Siberian Khatru," "Magnification," "Don't Kill The Whale," "In The Presence Of," "We Have Heaven," "South Side Of The Sky," "And You And I," "To Be Over," "The Clap," "Show Me," "Rick Wakeman Solo Medley," "Heart Of The Sunrise," "Long Distance Runaround," "The Fish," "Awaken," "I've Seen All Good People," and "Roundabout."
