Yes singer tours with "School Of Rock" students

Yes singer Jon Anderson kicked off a mini-tour in Falls Church, Virginia, on Wednesday, February 14th with students from the Paul Green School Of Rock. Anderson will play a further four shows over the next few days with the teenagers, who study rock music intensively at the various School Of Rock campuses. It all makes sense to Anderson, who told us that he's noticed over the years how his music has been passed on to younger generations: "It's become a family thing. You know, you get a lot of die-hard fans who've got 12-, 15-year-old kids who said, 'Dad, you listen to Yes?' And then, all of a sudden, 'Hey Dad, you listen to that band that's so good.'"

Anderson's got the time for these shows because Yes is on an extended hiatus. The band is looking at a 40th anniversary tour for 2008, but nothing's been locked in yet.

February 14 - Falls Church, VA - State Theatre
February 15 - Glenside, PA - Keswick Theatre
February 16 - Ridgefield, CT - Ridgefield Playhouse
February 18 & 19 - New York, NY - B.B. King's Blues Club
