Yoko Ono feels fans acceptance from younger generation
Yoko Ono is receiving her best reviews in years with the release of her latest album, titled Yes, I'm A Witch. The collection features 17 of her solo tracks completely revamped and remixed by such modern acts as Apples In Stereo, Antony and The Johnsons, the Flaming Lips, and others.
Yoko Ono told us that although she's grateful that the younger generations have embraced her 1970's work, it was painful at the time to receive such constant critical bashings: "My memory of that is very bitter. Well, not bitter but it was very sad because nobody really liked my songs so much. And also, they were constantly attacking me for it, you know?"
