Celebrity gossip round-up

Colin Farrell swung by Hollywood's In-N-Out burger the other day and picked himself up some hamburgers, fries, and a hot Latina employee. According to gossip columnist Janet Charlton, the Miami Vice star and his baby's mama Kim Bordenave bought food to go at fast food restaurant's drive-through window -- and about an hour later, a solo Collin returned to ask the drive-through server out. She reportedly hooked up with him after her shift.

Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett is reportedly negotiating for a starring role in the upcoming fourth Indiana Jones film, which will again star Harrison Ford and be directed by Steven Spielberg.

Jennifer Lopez is excited about her appearance on American Idol this season. The dancing and singing diva told People she'd probably perform one of her Spanish-language tunes and that she has a "couple favorite" contestants that she's cheering for. Lopez is expected to turn up on Idol in April.

Jessica Simpson wants to publish a book of her photography. The actress-singer told MTV Europe that ideally, the collection would be her landscape shots accompanied by corresponding journal entries, "I know exactly what I was going through when I was taking the picture, and I write it down as I take the picture, so it will be that kind of book."

Not even open heart surgery can clam up Regis Philbin. That's the word from his partner in TV crime, Kelly Ripa, who said on March 15th that the chatty Notre Dame alum is already "up and joking around with nurses" a day after his heart bypass operation.

Ex-X-Files star David Duchovny is headed back to television. He'll star in a still-untitled series for Showtime about a man balancing his writing career, a 16-year-old daughter, an ex-wife, and various other women. The program could air as early as August.
