Chris Cornell reveals full spring tour

Former Audioslave and Soundgarden vocalist Chris Cornell has unveiled the full schedule for his spring solo tour, which is slated to begin on April 6th at the Vegas Grand Prix in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cornell will tour to promote the June 5th release of his second solo album, Carry On, but also plans to perform songs from both his previous bands, as well as the Temple of the Dog side project and his first solo effort, Euphoria Morning. Cornell last toured on his own behind that 1999 release.

Among its 14 tracks, Carry On will feature "You Know My Name" -- Cornell's theme for the latest James Bond film, Casino Royale -- as well as a cover of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."

News of the solo project fueled rumors of a split with Audioslave, with Cornell officially leaving the band last month due to "irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences."

Apr 11 - Chicago, IL - Metro/Smart Bar
Apr 16 - New York, NY - Irving Plaza
