Dancing With The Stars kicks off new season tonight
Dancing With The Stars is back for another season tonight (March 12th) at 8. This time around, it's three athletes, a former Cheers regular, an estranged Beatle wife, a country music superstar, and a one-time boy bander who are among the familiar faces putting their best foot forward. They'll get to perform in two episodes before the elimination round comes up, and they'll judged by ballroom circuit regular and two dancer/choreographers.
The celebs competing in Season Four of Dancing With The Stars are:
Boxer Laila Ali
Country singer and Disney Channel star, Billy Ray Cyrus
NBA veteran Clyde Drexler
*NSYNC singer Joey Fatone
Miss USA 2004 Shandi Finnessey
Entertainment reporter Leeza Gibbons
Landmine activist and Paul McCartney's soon-to-be ex-wife Heather Mills
Speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno
Cheers actor John Ratzenberger -- who replaced Sopranos' actor Vincent Pastore after the hefty actor withdrew because he couldn't keep up with the show's vigorous training
Model Paulina Porizkova
Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Ian Ziering
Of these contestants, Heather Mills is creating the biggest stir because she's in the midst of divorcing Paul McCartney and has a prosthetic leg. Mills' fellow Dancing With The Stars contestant Leeza Gibbons said even she's curious about Mills: "I haven't met Heather. She's been in England doing her training, and I think everybody's curious, not only about how she's going to deal with a prosthetic leg, and sort of showcasing the abilities of people with physical challenges, but you know, who is she? I think we don't really know and there's a lot of curiosity."
