Dark New Day continues as guitarist plays with Korn

Dark New Day will carry on despite guitarist Clint Lowery's new side job as touring guitarist for Korn. Lowery's brother, bassist Corey Lowery, told Harddrive Radio that the band tentatively plans to enter the studio around March 26th and that the other members told Clint to "go for it" when the Korn opportunity came up. Corey Lowery also said that Dark New Day hopes to have its second album out by the end of 2007.

Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer revealed yesterday (Wednesday, February 28th) that Lowery would be playing live as Korn's second axeman.

Dark New Day released its debut album, Twelve Year Silence, in June of 2005. The disc featured the single "Brother."

In addition to Clint and Corey Lowery, who played in Sevendust and Stereomud respectively, the group features former members of DoubleDrive, Skrape and Creed.
