Don't call it a come-back says Saliva singer

Saliva continues to ride high with the chart-topping success of its single "Ladies And Gentlemen" from the band's new album, Blood Stained Love Story. But singer Josey Scott told us that he wouldn't call Blood Stained Love Story a comeback: "I really don't look at it as a comeback record. It's nice to have had the success that we've had in the past, and it's nice to still be successful now. But like Alice Cooper says, you know, it's a rollercoaster. It goes up and it goes down and it goes up...but the good news is when it goes down, it comes back up again."

Blood Stained Love Story came out on January 23rd and opened at Number 19 on the Billboard album chart, the band's highest debut ever.

A video for "Ladies And Gentlemen," which features Scott playing three roles, will premiere this month.

Scott continues to develop his acting career and will re-team on a new film with writer and director Craig Brewer, who cast the vocalist in a small role in 2005's Hustle and Flow.

Saliva has concert dates scheduled through April 29th and plays tonight (Thursday, March 8th) in Towson, Maryland.
