Fall Out Boy planning "really big rock show" for upcoming tour

Fall Out Boy plans to give audiences a huge show on the 2007 Honda Civic Tour next month, but bassist Pete Wentz said not to expect the kind of staging that a lot of bands are using these days: "It's gonna be the biggest show Fall Out Boy fans have ever seen, as far as a Fall Out Boy show. I think a lot of bands right now are kind of like doing these, like, really theatrical shows. Like, our friends in Panic! At The Disco did this, like, almost circus onstage and it was real crazy, but that's just not what our band is. Our band's a rock band, and that's what we really fit. It's gonna be just a really, really, really big rock show."

The 2007 Honda Civic Tour begins on April 18th in Charlotte, North Carolina. The lineup also features Plus 44, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is... and rapper Paul Wall.

The 43-date trek wraps on June 11th in Fall Out Boy's hometown of Chicago.

The band has announced a contest in which its members will mix their blood with the printing ink used for a series of promotional posters. One winner at each stop on the tour will go home with one of the limited edition posters.

Fall Out Boy is supporting its latest album, Infinity On High. The new single from the CD is called "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs."
