Fans unhappy about Red Jumpsuit Apparatus-led Warped Tour lineup?

Are fans unhappy with the lineup of this year's Warped Tour, which features the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Coheed and Cambria, Bad Religion and Pepper, along with many underground bands? Based on a post by tour founder Kevin Lyman at the tour web site, it seems that way. Lyman wrote, "The tour has always been a place to explore and discover new music...if (you're) open minded this will be a great show, if you're not this might be the year to stay home and go do something constructive with your lives instead of complaining about the lineup on the message boards."

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is one of the main stage headliners this year and singer Ronnie Winter told us that Lyman knows what he's doing when it comes to choosing the bands: "Well, you know what? You can't fool kids, and if you made it to main stage Warped Tour, that means a lot of kids want to see your band. Kevin's always been very smart about that."

Lyman added in his post that this year's trek will include "old school, emo, punk, screamo, hip-hop, more ska than you have seen in a long time and everything in between." A full list of acts can be found at warpedtour.com.

The tour, now in its 12th year, gets rolling on June 28th in San Diego.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is currently headlining the 2007 Take Action! Tour and supporting its debut album, Don't You Fake It.
