Heather Mills says she will always love Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills has broken her silence about the couple's split, saying that she still has love for the former Beatle. Mills told BBC News 24 that, "I will never get over it. I will always love Paul. He is the father of my child, but I just have to move on and deal with it and there is nothing I can do. I have never spoken badly about my husband. I never will -- he is the father of my child."

Mills went on to add that, "There are huge powers (against me). I don't have that powerful system that he has. There are huge powers that create these things for reasons of their own... There is a huge agenda about trying to destroy me and put me down. I have a daughter to protect and I don't want to speak badly about any of the parties involved."

Macca and Mills, who separated last May, currently share custody of their three-year old daughter Beatrice.

Meanwhile:

Heather Mills has been warned by her local police department in Britain about calling 911 too often over snooping paparazzi. Reuters reported that Mills' overuse of "999," which is Britain's version of 911, has become a nuisance for officers in the area.

Chief Superintendent Kevin Moore of Brighton and Hove Police in the south of England said that, "We are having to spend a disproportionate amount of time on one particular person. We are duty-bound to respond, but clearly people who make lots of calls to the police run the risk of being treated as the little boy who cried wolf."

Moore added that, "Officers who have attended previously to find there have been no grounds might not take any claims seriously, and that's the danger we face."

A spokesperson for Mills countered back claiming that, "(Chief Superintendent Kevin Moore) assures us he is in no way disappointed with the level of calls from Miss Mills." Mills has been keeping video diaries of the press harassment she feels she's received since she and McCartney separated last year.

Heather Mills will make her debut on Dancing With The Stars on Monday, March 19th on ABC. Mills, who had part of her leg amputated after a motorcycle accident in 1993, is the show's first handicapped participant.

In other McCartney-related news:

The press continues to speculate on reports that McCartney has dumped his record label of 45 years, EMI, to become the first artist signed to the Starbucks coffee chain's new label, Hear Music.

Beatlefan magazine's editor-in-chief Bill King isn't convinced that McCartney's move to the new Starbucks-run label is high-profile enough for someone of McCartney's stature, explaining that, "Well assuming that the story gets confirmed, I think he must have been really peeved about the amount of effort (EMI) put into (his last album) Chaos And Creation In The Backyard. And I don't blame him. But let's face it, EMI may have its problems but its still a major label. A start-up indie (label) run by a restaurant chain is quite a comedown for a star like McCartney."

Kicking off tonight is the New York Metro Fest For Beatles Fans in Secaucus, New Jersey at the Crowne-Plaza Meadowlands hotel. The fan convention, previously known as Beatlefest, will run over the weekend (Friday through Saturday, March 16th through 18th) will feature members of John Lennon's original band the Quarrymen, the Beatles' original recording engineer Norman "Hurricane" Smith, the Hollies' Terry Sylvester, Ringo Starr's longtime producer and songwriting partner Mark Hudson, Lennon photographer Bob Gruen, and legendary Beatles and Rolling Stones documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles.

On Saturday night, '80s rockers the Smithereens will perform. The band has just released their new Meet The Smithereens! album, a track-for-track cover of the Fab Four's 1964 American release, Meet The Beatles!

Fest organizer Mark Lapidos recalled the day he personally got John Lennon's blessing to launch the annual Beatles fan convention: "April 26th, 1974, John Lennon and Harry Nilsson were going to be in Central Park, talking and supporting the March of Dimes. Right after John and Harry appeared, I went across the street, it was right there the Sherry Netherland (hotel), I believe. And (I) just walked up to the room, knocked on the door, (and) Harry Nilsson opened the door. And I sat down and told John my whole idea, and he said the famous quote, he said, 'I'm all for it. I'm a Beatles fan too.' I will never, ever forget that."

The Fest For Beatles Fans features various video and karaoke rooms, a Beatles museum, group sing-a-longs, a battle of the bands competition, as well as huge flea market boasting many one-of-a kind posters, books and memorabilia.
