Hinder bassist says girls deserve better than his band

Hinder has released an astounding four singles from its debut album, Extreme Behavior, the latest of which is "Better Than Me." Bassist Mike Rodden told us that the song touches on the way the guys in his band sometimes handle relationships: "'Better Than Me,' basically, I mean, it's not about any of us, you know, when we wrote it or whatever. But looking back at it now, it would probably describe us to a T if we had girlfriends, because they would definitely deserve better than us. It's kind of about a guy that, you know, he breaks up with a chick and he realizes that, you know, it's probably for the best 'cause she deserves better than him 'cause he's kind of a d***."

The video for "Better Than Me" is now available at Yahoo! Music.

Hinder kicks off the inaugural Door to Dorm Tour tomorrow (Friday, March 16th) in South Padre, Texas, with the trek taking the hard rock act to 17 college campuses around the United States. Papa Roach and Puddle Of Mudd will open for Hinder on selected stops.

After tomorrow's kickoff, Hinder will head to Europe for two weeks of shows before resuming the college tour on April 13th in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Hinder is planning another headlining tour for the summer and isn't likely to return to the studio until next January.
