Kaiser Chiefs releasing 2 albums a month appart

The Kaiser Chiefs haven't even released their new album in the States yet and are already putting out another one. According to NME, the U.K. group revealed that while making its sophomore disc, Yours Truly Angry Mob, they also recorded another entire CD of new songs which will be available next month only to members of the band's fan club. On top of that, the Chiefs have yet another album's worth of material ready to record.

Bassist Simon Rix explained, "It can get frustrating waiting between releases. We wrote (debut album) Employment and then we didn't record for another two years. We'd prefer to start writing our next (major) album soon. Bands in the '60s used to bang albums out and that's what we want to do."

Fans can sign up for more info on the upcoming record at kaiserchiefs.co.uk.

Meanwhile, Yours Truly Angry Mob will be out in the U.S. on March 27th, one month after its release overseas. It includes the single "Ruby."

The band's 2005 debut, Employment, featured the hit "I Predict A Riot."

The Kaiser Chiefs begin a three-week North American tour on April 6th in Philadelphia.
