Lane Garrison sorry for fatal accident
Prison Break actor Lane Garrison will forever regret killing a teenager in a December car crash. The actor told People magazine in his first interview about the accident, "I pray every day for all the families involved. I realize I will live with a sense of guilt for the rest of my life."
Garrison is being charged with vehicular manslaughter and a number of other crimes for driving his Land Rover into a tree on December 2nd. The crash left 17-year-old Vahagn Setian dead, and a 15-year-old passenger with a fractured pelvis and shattered arm. A third teenage passenger escaped without serious injuries. Police say Garrison was high on cocaine and drunk at the time of the accident.
Garrison's attorney plans on entering guilty pleas for some of the charges and leaving it up to the judge to determine his punishment. Attorney Harland Braun told People, "Lane accepts responsibility. The judge will decide sentencing and Lane will accept it."
