Lindsay Lohan's dad out of jail

Lindsay Lohan has a lot to deal with this week besides work, AA, and her usual partying -- her jailbird dad is out of prison, and a photographer is blaming her for sending him to the hospital.

Lohan's father, Michael Lohan, was released from upstate New York's Collins Correctional Facility Tuesday (March 13th), after spending nearly two years there for attempted assault and other charges. He's been estranged from his famous daughter for years now but told Newsday he's willing to mend their relationship, "I'm going to wait, and when she sees I'm walking the walk, I'm hopeful she'll open the door."

As if that wasn't enough action for the 20-year-old Mean Girls star, she also had a literal run-in with photographer Giovanni Arnold. Lohan was reportedly trying to drive away from New York's Club Butter at three in the morning on Tuesday (March 13th) when her car and the shutterbug met. Witnesses say he threw himself on the hood of her car, while Arnold's camp says Lohan purposely tried to run him over.

Police seem to believe Lohan's account of events, and are not pursuing criminal charges.
