Oasis guitarist and girlfriend expecting child

Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher and his girlfriend, Sara McDonald, are expecting their first child together. According to NME, McDonald is reportedly three months pregnant. A band spokesperson told BBC News that the couple was "very happy." Gallagher already has a seven-year old daughter named Anais with ex-wife Meg Matthews.

Gallagher is slated to perform acoustically on March 26th and 27th at London's Royal Albert Hall as part of a benefit for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

His brother, Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher, was caught on video late last month allegedly assaulting a photographer outside a restaurant where the singer was eating with his family.

Oasis was honored for Outstanding Contribution to Music earlier this month at the 2007 Brit Awards, the U.K. equivalent to the Grammys.
