Queen + Rodgers moving forward with recording sessions

Things continue to move forward with Queen + Paul Rodgers, as the group has been working on some new material for the past few months. Fans have wondered how the sessions are going, and guitarist Brian May recently responded on his official brianmay.com website by writing, "I don't really feel it's right to get into too many details at this point, but, as things stand, in the recent Queen/Rodgers sessions, all three of us (May, Rodgers, and drummer Roger Taylor) have played some bass! (me most of all)." May added, "Whether the tracks will end up that way, I'm not sure -- we may invite someone in at some point, but for the purposes of getting our heads together, and evolving not only songs, but ways of creating, it has worked out well just having the three of us, so far."

There's been no word yet on when the new material might surface, or when the group might tour again. Rodgers currently has a handful of solo dates booked in the U.S. in April and May.
