Rare Slipknot album auctioned on eBay
A copy of Slipknot's ultra-rare self-released first album, called Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat, is currently being auctioned on eBay, according to Blabbermouth. The 1996 "demo" effort, which features an earlier, different lineup and look for the group, is considered the rarest of all Slipknot collectibles. Only 1,000 copies of the CD were pressed before Slipknot went on to sign with Roadrunner Records.
The auction ends on March 23rd at 9:12 p.m. ET.
Another copy of the record was sold on eBay in March 2006 for $627.37.
Slipknot recently released a DVD called Voliminal: Inside The Nine.
Singer Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root are currently on the road with their other band, Stone Sour, but Slipknot plans to reconvene in early 2008 to start working on its next album.
