Rush - New album and UK tour

Atlantic Records UK today announced the Monday April 30th release of RUSH's first new studio album "SNAKES & ARROWS", plus the announcement of a major October 2007 UK arena tour (tickets go on sale this Saturday).

The album is the renowned rock trio's first new collection of original material in nearly five years, and was recorded during the fall of 2006 by Grammy Award winning record producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver) with RUSH co-producing. The first single taken from the album 'Far Cry' will be available in the UK as a digital download on Monday April 16th.

Tickets for the band's October 2007 UK arena tour go on sale from Saturday March 31st at 9am GMT via 0871 424 4444 and www.ticketline.co.uk. The tour starts at Glasgow SECC on Wednesday October 3rd, with more gigs confirmed in Newcastle, Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester, plus two shows at London Wembley Arena.
