Stone Sour guitarist gears up for spring tour
Stone Sour begins the spring edition of the Jagermeister Music Tour on March 23rd, the band's latest trek in support of its sophomore album, Come What(ever) May. The group has been on the road almost nonstop since the CD came out last August. Guitarist Jim Root told us his biggest problem with being away from home for so long is figuring out what to pack: "You know, that's something I can never really do right, so I've gotten to the point now where I just basically, I go to Wal-Mart and I buy a bunch of socks that I can just throw away every night, and I bring, like, three pairs of pants with me, and hopefully we're able to do laundry. I mean, I tend to find that you tend to accumulate so much stuff when you tour, like the less you bring with you, the better it always is."
Stone Sour will headline the Jagermeister Music Tour, with Lacuna Coil and Shadows Fall along as support. The tour begins on the 23rd in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Come What(ever) May has sold nearly half a million copies since its release last August.
The album's latest single is called "Sillyworld." A video for the song has been posted online.
