Three Days Grace sponsored charity auction starts today
An online auction started by Three Days Grace drummer Neil Sanderson and his wife Janin begins today (Tuesday, March 6th). The auction will last for two weeks and offer autographed items from Three Days Grace, Nickelback, Staind, Justin Timberlake, soccer star David Beckham, basketball legend Michael Jordan, golf icon Tiger Woods and more. Sanderson told us how they managed to land so many items from music and sports stars: "Basically we just, we've collected most of it on the road just with other bands, you know, going up to them and saying, 'Hey, this is what we've been doing.' And bands seem to want to jump at the chance. And now all these sports stars are doing the same and we're pretty excited about it this year, man. It's a great cause and it's really gratifying and we're stoked."
All proceeds will benefit Operation Herbie and the SickKids Foundation, which funds a program at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada that provides care and facilities for children from Third World countries. More info can be found at herbierocks.com
