Witchblade star Yancy Butler busted for DUI

Witchblade star Yancy Butler is in trouble with the law again. The 36-year-old actress was charged with driving under the influence Tuesday (March 13th) after crashing her car into a guard rail on a Connecticut street. She was also cited for failing to drive in an established lane of traffic, according to the Associated Press, and will appear in court on March 26th to face the charges.

Butler was in just court last month for disorderly conduct, and in January she had an ex-boyfriend arrested for harassing and stalking her with phone calls and "lewd fliers." Three years ago, she was hit with a disorderly intoxication charge, and had several other counts wiped from her record because she completed an alcohol abuse program.

Butler has struggled with alcoholism for several years now.

Her father is Joe Butler, the former drummer for the '60s band the Lovin' Spoonful.
