2007 Ozzfest ticket info announced

The organizers of this summer's Ozzfest have announced that ticket codes for the free festival tour will be distributed through its sponsor web sites, beginning on May 12th. Details on how to obtain the codes are available at ozzfest.com, livenation.com, monsterenergy.com, jagermusic.com and fye.com. Then starting on June 12th, fans will be able to return to the site at which they obtained the codes and enter them to download two tickets to the show. There is a limit of two tickets per customer.

The 24-city Ozzfest begins on July 12th in Seattle.

In addition to headliner Ozzy Osbourne, groups slated to perform include Lamb Of God, Hatebreed, Lordi, Behemoth, Mondo Generator, Nile, Circus Diablo, 3 Inches Of Blood and In This Moment.

In addition to announcing that Ozzfest will be free for all attendees, co-founder Sharon Osbourne also controversially revealed that the bands will not get paid either, leading to industry speculation that the tour has been unable to secure bigger names for the main stage.

Ozzy releases a new album called Black Rain in early June, with a single titled "I Don't Wanna Stop" arriving at radio stations later this week.
