Art Garfunkel is a fan of Borat
Art Garfunkel says he's a fan of the recent comedy film Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan. Dailyindia.com reported that Garfunkel, who's on tour in support of his new standards set, Some Enchanted Evening, took time out to praise Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen, saying, "I think Sacha Baron Cohen is a sharp guy with a huge amount of talent and a whole lot of ball. He's a fearless kamikaze."
Garfunkel went on to joke that, "From an American perspective it was a breath of fresh air in a fearful age. All the uptight posturing was blown away by a good fart."
Garfunkel is philosophical when it come to summing up his own job: "My game is to stay interesting to myself through life. So, if whatever you've done in life, if it's not alive for you -- move on. But there is one subject I major in through life no matter what, and I don't move on from it and that is, singer. I am a singer."
The singer performs on Thursday, April 12th in Westbury, New York at the North Fork Theatre At Westbury.
