Bohemian Raspberry ice cream for charity

Queen - or to be precise the Freddie Mercury penned Bohemian Rhapsody - has inspired a new ice cream flavor from Ben & Jerry's. "Bohemian Raspberry" is vanilla ice cream with fudge brownies and raspberry swirls. According to Britain's NME, guitarist Brian May said, "It's Queentastic! Rhapsolicious! So cool it's not funny! But only if the next one is We Will Chock You!" Proceeds from the ice cream will go to the Mercury Phoenix Trust for the fight against AIDS.

Bohemian Raspberry is only available in the U.K. for now -- there's no mention of it on the Ben & Jerry's American website and as far as we know it's not available in any other country.

Bohemian Raspberry is the latest music-themed release from Ben & Jerry's. Their previous concoctions have included Cherry Garcia, named after Grateful Dead leader Jerry Garcia, and Phish Food, which was inspired by the jam band Phish.
