Bruce Springsteen to premiere new live DVD on New Jersey PBS this month
New Jersey fans will get a sneak peak of the new live Bruce Springsteen DVD later this month. Backstreets.com reported that on April 30th, as part of New Jersey Public Television's pledge drive, the upcoming Bruce Springsteen With The Sessions Band Live In Dublin concert will premiere on the local NJN PBS affiliate at 8 p.m. ET.The DVD, which was taped last November in Dublin, will be sold along with the live CD on June 5th. Other PBS stations are expected to carry the Springsteen concert around the time of the album's release, but his hometown crowd will get the sneak peak first.
In addition to material from the album We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions, highlights on the new set include more folk-oriented arrangements of such Springsteen favorites as "Blinded By The Light," "Growin' Up," "Atlantic City," "You Can Look (But You Better Not Touch)," "Open All Night," "Bobby Jean," "For You," "If I Should Fall Behind," and "The River."
