Evanescence premieres new video

Evanescence has made the video for its new single, "Sweet Sacrifice," available at Yahoo! Music. Unlike previous clips, this one gets away from conceptual themes and focuses more on the band. Singer Amy Lee said she's pleased with the final results: "I think it's awesome. It's less concept and more pretty much just, like, raw live performance. It's kind of creepy. A lot of subliminal imagery and, like, scary stuff."

"Sweet Sacrifice" is the latest single from Evanescence's 2006 album, The Open Door.

The group is slated to co-headline this summer's Family Values tour with Korn, starting on July 20th in St. Louis.

Evanescence next heads to South America, South Africa and Europe.
