Gene Simmons hosts Guitar Hero II competition in New York City
Kiss singer-bassist Gene Simmons was in New York City on Wednesday, April 11th to host a video game competition. Simmons was joined at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square by five of the best Guitar Hero II players on the Xbox 360, where the gamers got to show off their skills in front of a live audience. At the end of the event, 24-year-old J.W. McNay from Southlake, Texas, was named the winner, and he got to play his GH II controller in a jam with Simmons using his trademark Axe bass on the Kiss classic "Strutter." McNay also got a special edition Guitar Hero II guitar.
