New Velvet Revolver album out in July

Velvet Revolver have finally settled on July 3rd as the release date for their second album, Libertad. The first single, "She Builds Quick Machines," has been getting live play during their shows in South America, but hits radio sometime in May.

Bassist Duff McKagan said the track wasn't the band's first choice for lead-off single. "The band had something they wanted to go with, but RCA just kept coming with it," he said. "So we decided it's fine. It's a great f***in' rock song. It has a kick-ass guitar riff, a great chorus, a real big bridge and a great Slash solo."
